TERMS OF SERVICE — mydebtclearer (mydebtclearer.com)
1. The service
mydebtclearer (mydebtclearer.com) helps you build an income and expenditure statement, calculate affordable pro-rata offers and send those offers to your creditors. We act on your explicit instruction. We do not negotiate on your behalf beyond the offers you authorise.
2. What we are not
We are not a debt management company, insolvency practitioner, or provider of regulated debt advice unless separately stated in writing. Creditors are not obliged to accept any offer. Nothing here is financial or legal advice.
3. Your responsibilities
You confirm the information you provide (income, expenditure, balances, creditor contacts) is accurate and complete, and that you are entitled to act for any joint applicant named.
4. Authorisation
Sending a proposal requires your electronic authorisation. Your signature name, the timestamp and the plan snapshot are recorded in the audit trail.
5. Payments
Payments to creditors are made under a direct debit mandate you set up and control. You may cancel a mandate at any time with your bank; you must tell us and your creditors if you do.
6. Availability and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect loss. Nothing limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud.
7. Termination
Either party may end the agreement at any time. Your data is handled per the privacy notice.
8. Governing law
England and Wales.
